Beale Street

This little area of Memphis has to be one of the cheapest places to have drinks and bar hop in the United States.  You'll have to park your Memphis car rental on a nearby block and walk over to Beale Street in the evening as it closes to traffic, allowing patrons to take their drinks into the streets!  You can actually get a cheap 32oz beer to go and walk around to the many bars and clubs here, most of which do not charge a cover!
