Tracking

CarHireX.com assigns each affiliate a unique URL, which identifies your organization. Then all you need to do is add that link to your website, banners, emails or other promotions! All reservations made using that URL will be attributed to you and commission paid on those reservations accordingly.

• Example:
  You are the owner of a website. You sign up to the CarHireX.com affiliate program and you will be assigned a URL such as www.CarHireX.com/?affiliateID=AffiliateCode, where the AffiliateCode is a unique combination of letters and numbers. When you have received your unique URL, just add that link to your website and banners.

30 Day Cookie Policy

We use a 30 day cookie. This means that when a customer clicks on your unique tracking URL, a cookie is placed on the customer's computer. If the customer goes on to make a car rental booking any time in the next 30 days, the cookie will ensure that the booking is attributed back to you the affiliate and you will earn your commission.

Reporting

Reports will be emailed to your registered email address on a weekly basis showing the number of confirmed reservations for the prior week. If reports are required on a more frequent basis, this can be negotiated on an individual basis.

Payments

Payments will be made on a monthly basis for the previous month’s confirmed reservations. Payment will be made when affiliate commission has reached a minimum of €200.

Terms and Conditions

• Websites with inappropriate content such as adult content or any kind of illegal activity will not be approved to promote the CarHireX.com campaign.
• The person making the application to become an affiliate must be the owner of the website and the website must have travel-related content.
• The website that the affiliate submits for approval must be the website that they promote the campaign on.
• All referrals must be made directly from affiliates websites, which must be listed within their affiliate account and approved by us.
• If an affiliate is found to be promoting the campaign using incorrect content they will be issued with a warning. Failure to change the content will result in the affiliate’s suspension from the campaign and any pending commission payments will be withdrawn from their account.
• The affiliate agrees to display all information relating to CarHireX.com accurately
• Any changes being made to the affiliate website or tracking systems must be communicated to CarHireX.com immediately to ensure that any necessary testing can be carried out. 
• Affiliates must not use www.carhirex.com or any variation of this url in the destination url or text in PPC advertisements.
• CarHireX.com is not responsible for affiliates who fail to correctly implement their unique tracking URL or any lost commission resulting from this failure.
• CarHireX.com reserves the right to suspend any affiliate found not to be adhering to the terms and conditions with immediate effect and to withhold any outstanding commission payments.
• Affiliates will receive a weekly booking report to the registered email address. The report will show all booking details, the booking value, and the commission value.

Commission Payment – Terms and Conditions

• Unless agreed otherwise payments are made monthly by bank transfer in pounds sterling, Euros, or US dollars.
• International bank transfer fees will be deducted from payments to affiliates
• Comission payments will need to reach at least £200 before a commission payment can be made. Commission below £200 will be carried over to the following month until it reaches above £200.
• The commission payable to the affiliate will be paid on all bookings made by a customer who follows a click through on the unique tracking URL link from the affiliate’s website with the correct tracking implemented. The commission will be paid on the final value of the booking and after the booking has occurred; bookings are subject to amendments, which may affect the final booking value. The commission is gross and includes VAT.
• The commission level reached on the tierred commission structure is determined by the volume of bookings that complete each month. For example, if a booking is made in January for July, the commission will be paid in August (if it is not cancelled or declined in the meantime). The commission tier to be paid to the affiliate is determined by the total number of bookings that complete in a single month. For example, if an affiliate has 101 completed bookings in 1 month, they will be paid 8.5% commission for all of those bookings. If a booking is cancelled, declined, or the customer fails to collect their rental vehicle, commission will not be paid. Card fees and additional optional extras are not eligible for commission.
• Time taken between when a booking is made to when the commission is paid depends upon how far in advance the booking has been made. In the event that either party decides to terminate the activity under this agreement, commission will continue to be paid for bookings that have already been made through the affiliate website before the termination date.
• Affiliate accounts that have not generated any successful car hire bookings within a period of six months will be closed. Outstanding commission will only be paid if the amount equals £200.00 or more.
