I have no regrets about visiting Lyon, it's a peaceful, hassle free city. Like a small Paris in France
To rent a car in Lyon and drive for miles to the side of Le Rhone river, which links with La Saone, this was an unforgettable experience.
The modern quarter with it's tower Le Crayon, and of course, the old quarter Le vieux Lyon, this place has the most fabulous cuisine in France. Uphill you'll see the Basilic, Our Lady of Fouviere.
I was there in December and they celebrate the Fete de Lumieres, which means Light Festival, and it's beautiful! Lights of different colours iluminate the different buildings and reflect in the waters of the river.
