Reina Sofia Museum in Madrid

The National Museum of Art Reina Sofia is the main Contemporary Art Museum in Madrid and part of the triangle of main museums around the Paseo del Prado, along with the Prado Museum, and the Thyssen Museum.

This is a beautiful and very interesting complex of two main establishments. The oldest one if the Sabatini building, located on Santa Isabel Street, and the new one is the Nouvel building in Plaza del Emperador. The complex is also composed of two complementary spaces, which are the Velazquez Palace and the Crystal Palace, both within the popular Retiro Park.
