Ataturk Mausoleum in Turkey

In 1953 this mausoleum was first opened, and it was dedicated to the founder of modern Turkey, Ataturk.

The mausoleum is an ivory square with 40 tons columns, to which you can get through a long street with lions to its sides, finishing in a huge square.

You can also visit the museum with Ataturk's personal belongings, like his personal cars collection.

In the square, in front of the mausoleum, there's a 33-meter-high flagpole.
