Edinburgh and more

Edinburgh is for me one of the most beautiful cities in Scotland. The image of the Castle of Edinburgh, the Holyrood Palace, are some of the most unforgettable pictures I keep from when I was there.

Hire a car in Edinburgh and drive to the Princess Street gardens, with their flowers clock, and tour important monuments in the city such as William Wallace.

If you find it interesting there’s a special tour around all the so called “haunted houses” in town.

Now for shopping I prefer Glasgow. Museums and gardens are some of the city’s top sites. I you wish to experience the lands where most of Scotland’s great wars took place, then you should pay a visit to Stirling, there’s the William Wallace Museum, and the old prison that has become a museum as well.

And, of course, drive your rental car up north to Loch Ness. The landscape is awesome and the air so clean your lungs will appreciate the stay. Enjoy the National Park here for some extra experience in Scotland.
