What To Pack for Orlando, Florida

On your upcoming Florida vacation it is important to have everything you need and not much else because extra baggage is expensive with most airlines now, and you want to remember to save room for souvenirs.  Here are my top suggestions on how to pack for the resorts and attractions you will visit with a car rental from Orlando Airport

Swimsuit

If your headed to the Sunshine State this winter anytime before March it's unlikely you'll be swimming in the ocean (though you might still have the chance to lounge and play at in the sand), but you should still bring your swimsuit for a dip in the pools at your hotel or resort.  For any visit to Florida by car rental after March on through the summer swimwear is a must!  The waters will be warm and irresistible!

Waterproof Camera

A Hat

Big and floppy, made of straw, fashionable or no, a hat is an essential (in my opinion) if you plan to be spending time out in the bright Florida sun.  The jury is out over the safety and effectiveness of sunblock, but no one ever argues over the sensibility of a good sombrero.  I suggest packing one that is crushable or at least will bounce back into shape after being in a suitcase or bag, because you might want to tuck it away in your beach bag if a long day in the sun turns into a hot night at a beach bar or out on the town by car rental in Orlando.
