Inspired by our recent article about the Winter Ski Resorts in Finland I decided I wanted to know more about Finland, specifically, what it would be like to drive through the country by car rental. I've never been overly interested in Finland, and I was surprised by how little I actually knew about it, which was basically nothing at all. For instance, I had no idea how beautiful and scenic it's tree lined highways could be all covered with ice and snow. You can find out for yourself with a cheap car rental online in Finland.
As Europe's seventh largest country there are quite a few roads to be explored on a road trip in Finland. That is exactly what this video I've included from youtube captures. The video footage shows the snowy, tree-lined roads from Pudasjärvi to Taivalkoski along highway 20.
