How to get to Seville

Situated on the banks of the smooth, slow Guadaquivir River, Sevilla is the capital of Andalucia in Spain, and Spain's 4th largest city. The city is easy to reach and well connected by transportation lines. Enjoy this scenic area of Spain and get around to the best spots to view wildlife as well as entertainment and urban attractions with a car hire in Sevilla

Sevilla International Airport is only about a 25 minute drive from the city center. Probably the most convenient and direct way to arrive to the city, Sevilla Airport hosts connections to many international as well as domestic locations. Arrange for a Sevilla car hire to await your arrival at the airport.

Alternatively, La Parra International Airport, is on the way to Sevilla, just 10 km from the city of Jerez.  This might be a good option if you are visiting both cities or searching for a deal as the airport works with discount airlines such as Ryanair (from Frankfurt-Hahn and London-Stansted).

You can also reach Sevilla, like many other European cities, by train.  The Sevilla Santa Justa Station is on the eastern edge of the city centre.  It is the southern terminus of the Spanish high speed Ave train service, and makes it convenient and easy to add Sevilla to your vacation in any of several other Spanish cities.  Get from Córdoba in less than an hour, less than three hours from Madrid, or get a bargain and enjoy the ride on a slower train.  The overnight train from Barcelona to Sevilla in under 11 hours.  Your Sevilla rental car can meet you at the train station.

For the ultimate in thrifty travel take the bus, which can sometimes be only minimally longer than train though much cheaper.  Busses run regularly to and from most major cities, departing either from Plaza de Armas bus station near the river, or the Prado de San Sebastian station near the University/Santa Cruz.
