Style in the States

Style can be found in some surprising places.  If you're looking for the most stylish destination in the United States you won't find it on the coast like you might expect, but in Kentucky, according to Esquire magazine.  I personally would have to agree, although I may be a little bias, being born and raised in the Bluegrass State.  Come check out Kentucky style for yourself with a car rental from Louisville International Airport.

Just a few weeks ago Kentucky was busting at the seams with style at its annual "Big Hat Bash" the Kentucky Derby.  Aside from the timeless style favorites of horses and gambling, women come from all over to dress their best and top it all off with the biggest, most fabulous hat they can find.

Derby week is also the time to hit the most stylish parties of the year.  Invited or not, you're guaranteed to find a worthy bash or two by simply cruising around the posh areas of town in your Louisville car hire, such as Cherokee Triangle and Eastern Parkway

Kentucky has plenty of style the rest of the year too.  Independent businesses are alive and well in Louisivlle, Kentucky, and they flex their style with the "Keep Louisville Weird" campaign.  On Bardstown Road in an area of town known as the Highlands you can find many of such businesses.  In fact, the majority of the street is locally owned shops and restaurants, or chains that began locally such as Wick's Pizza, Ear-x-tacy Records, Heine Brother's Coffee, Cherry Bomb Clothing, and many more.
