Comacchio Beaches in Ferrara
Comacchio has a few great beaches totally different from each other. So when you are in Italy, this is one of your mandatory visits, you won’t regret it in a lifetime.
Hire a car in Ferrara and drive to what is known as the Seven Lidos, which are Lido di Volano, Lido delle Nazioni, Lido di Pomposa, Lido degli Scacchi, also called Porto Garibaldi, in Lido degli Estensi and Lido di Spina. This areas stretch out for almost 30 kilometres in the quaint province of Ferrara, which features wide areas of sandy beaches.
Back in the seventies this region began to increase its popularity amongst tourists and today is a very well known top site in Italy.
