Events in Pisa

Pisa holds a number of annual expos, fairs and sporting events throughout the year. For anything wedding related you wont want to miss the Forever Sposi fair held each January exhibiting anything from dressmakers to catering companies. From March until April, home and garden lovers will relish as the hundreds of exhibitors come to show at the Expo Pisa, an annual massive spring fair event, also hosting many horse and dog shows.

In May the Feast of Saint Ubaldo includes a botanical market and a crossbow competition. Concurrently Lus: Experiments Under the Tower is an annual event held in the Vecchi Macelli sector of Pisa aimed at explaining scientific concepts in an appealing manner.

Yet perhaps the most noted of Pisa’s events is the Regata delle Antiche Repubbliche Marinare, a remarkable historical boat race and procession, hosted annually in June.
